Arcadia and Encore Showrooms at NeoCon 2014

In early June, Neocon reconvened in Chicago to gather together interior designers and commercial manufacturers in the largest convention of its kind in North America.  For over 20 years, Inovus Design has had the  honor of designing the Arcadia and Encore Showrooms for the Neocon conventions.This year’s showrooms were bursting with brilliant blues and stunning whites. As with any type of design, there is a tension between beauty and functionality. In working with the latest furniture from Arcadia, Inovus Design was able to create multiple refreshing zones for the convention clients to experience.

Many of the yearly visitors of Neocon look forward to seeing what the honorary mascot will be sporting. He’s happily guarding the room in his cool blue collar! Always a welcome addition to the show.

One of the fun elements in this year’s collection are the geometric seating and table sets. These offer great flexibility in creating flow to the Arcadia showroom. Designed to merge well in any number and location, they add dimension and diversity to the traditional office environment.

Reminiscent of a sky bar under the stars, it may surprise one to know the function of all of the tables and seating are intended for work space. We wouldn’t be surprised to find visitors wanting to stay and enjoy the atmosphere for a bit longer than first planned!
